The Portland International Airport is frequently voted the best airport in the US, and rightfully so, it’s been undergoing extensive renovations for the past 5 years. As part of its major expansion plan Terminal B got a huge facelift. As part of the reveal I was asked to create a center-fold illustration for a special edition newspaper created for the launch. In addition I expanded the illustration system to imagine how it might live throughout the entire terminal.
